Grigor Dimitrov Runs 10K Run on Occasion of World Aids Day
Tennis - Bulgaria's Grigor Dimitrov has taken part in a 10-km marathon held in the French city of Annecy on the occasion of World AIDS Day, according to the Tennis Bulgaria website.
Dimitrov ran the course with a personal record of his own along with his conditioning coach Seb Durant. The pair are currently working in the off-season to prepare for the 2020 season with new routines and fun exercises along with some heavy training.
The 28-year-old Dimitrov had a strong finish to the 2019 season - climbing from No. 78 in August to No. 20 at the end of the season, by reaching the semi-finals of the US Open, where he defeated Roger Federer, before going down to Daniil Medvedev, and the semi-finals of the Paris Masters.
Dimitrov has been ranked as high as No. 3 in the world in 2017. He will begin the new season at the ATP Cup in January in Australia, playing for Bulgaria in the first edition of the new competition.
