Serena Williams Collaborates with Away Luggage Collection

She may have lost early at the Australian Open but 23 time Grand Slam champion Serena Williams continues to score off the courts, partnering with Away Luggage collection - the latest in her off-court deals that have made her one of the highest earning women in sport.

Williams announced her own limited-edition collaboration with luggage brand Away: The Away x Serena Williams collection, which was launched on Monday. Williams, who is known for her business acumen and investments, has co-designed suitcases and packing tools for the collection.

According to the company website, they have partnered with Williams "on a brand new collection of bold luggage designed to make travel more seamless. This suitcase features one of Serena’s favorite colors and patterns, which is emblazoned throughout the interior lining and the luggage tag. Our softside Carry-On is made with a durable, water-resistant nylon that’s more flexible than our polycarbonate shell. With our signature interior compression system and an easy-access front pocket, it’s designed to expand an impressive 1.75” so you can pack more in. Want even more space? Go bigger."

This is the first rollout of the partnership which has been signed for two years and there will likely be many more releases to come from the collection.

38 year old Williams lost in the third round of the Australian Open last month as she continues to chase the all-time record of 24 Grand Slam titles currently held by Margaret Court, of Australia.
