Week 8: Djokovic in Dubai, Rafael Nadal in Acapulco, WTA stars in Doha!
The last week of February will be full of emotions and tournaments, with Novak Djokovic and Rafael Nadal who will come back on the court.
Men will play three tournaments: the Dubai Tennis Championships (UAE, ATP 500 played on hard-courts), the Mexican Open (Combined ATP / WTA, Mexico, ATP 500 played on hard-courts) and the Chile Open (Chile, ATP 500 played on clay-courts).
In Dubai the World no. 1 Novak Djokovic will lead the draw. There will be Stefanos Tsitsipas, Gael Monfils, Fabio Fognini, Karen Khachanov, Andrey Rublev, Marin Cilic and Richard Gasquet. Rafael Nadal will come back in Acapulco after the Match for Africa 6. With him also Alexander Zverev, Stan Wawrinka, Grigor Dimitrov, Nick Kyrgios, Felix Auger-Aliassime, John Isner and Alex De Minaur. In Santiago there will be Borna Coric, Christian Garin and Casper Ruud.
Women will play the Qatar Open (Qatar, WTA Premier 5 played on hard-courts) and the Mexican Open (Combined ATP / WTA, Mexico, WTA International played on hard-courts). Doha will host almost all the WTA stars: Ashleigh Barty, Simona Halep, Carolina Pliskova, Sofia Kenin, Garbine Muguruza, Elina Svitolina, Kiki Bertens, Petra Kvitova, Belinda Bencic, Amanda Anisimova, Dayana Yastremska and Marketa Vondousova. Ad Acapulco Sloane Stephens will lead the draw.
This week there will also be three ATP Challenger tournaments: the Teréga Open Pau – Pyrénées (France, played on indoor hard-courts), the Calgary National Bank Challenger (Canada, played on indoor hard-courts) and the Columbus Challenger (USA, played on hard-courts).
