Poland and Hong Kong to play without spectators due to Coronavirus concerns

Davis Cup tie between Poland and Hong Kong will be played without spectators due to Coronavirus concerns, via Michal Samulski.

Poland and Hong Kong are set to meet this weekend in a Davis Cup World Group II tie.

Poland will host Hong Kong in Arena Kalisz, on an indoor-hard surface.

Polish Davis Cup Team Captain Marius Fyrstenberg nominated for the tie Jerzy Janowicz, Kacper Zuk, Jan Zielinski, Maks Kasnikowski and Szymon Walkow.

On the other side, the team captain of Hong Kong, Hiu-Tung Yu, selected Hong Kit Wong, Pak Long Yeung, Ching Lam and Wai Yu Kai.

Poland enter the tie as the big favorites as former world No. 14 Janowicz and rising star Zuk are expected to get the job done for the hosts.

Janowicz, a 2013 Wimbledon semifinalist, missed the last two full seasons but returned to action at the end of this January.

The Pole proved that he has still got the game in just his third tournament since returning as he made the Pau Challenger final last week before losing to Ernests Gulbis.

Janowicz will now be aiming to win a few Davis Cup matches and continue to build his momentum and confidence.
