Goran Ivanisevic and Conchita Martinez may have to wait until 2021 to enter IHOF
Croatian Goran Ivanisevic and Spain's Conchita Martinez will be inducted into the International Tennis Hall of Fame next year if ATP Newport is cancelled, per Ravi Ubha.
Earlier this year, it was announced that Ivanisevic and Martinez would get inducted into the International Tennis Hall of Fame on July 18.
The Newport is scheduled to start in July 13 -- the date when the current Tour suspension is set to expire.
If ATP Newport is cancelled, IHOF CEO Todd Martin tells me the induction ceremony for Goran Ivanisevic & Conchita Martinez will be deferred. 'Our inductees would be well celebrated. We’re working on a massive virtual project but the actual induction would be deferred to 2021'

Ivanisevic is a former Wimbledon champion and former world No. 2.
"This is a huge honor," Ivanisevic said back in January. "I am proud and humbled to become the first ever Tennis Hall of Famer from Croatia. I am grateful to the committee for selecting me for this honor and so thankful to the fans who supported me in the Fan Vote and throughout my entire career, especially so many great fans in Croatia. I am honored and excited to become a Hall of Famer."
Martinez also won her lone Grand Slam title at Wimbledon and her career-high ranking saw her sit at No. 2 in the world.
"Becoming a Hall of Famer is such a great honor," Martinez said. "To be remembered as part of tennis history and among the greatest in our sport, so many of whom I have always admired, is really special and I'm grateful for this recognition."
