Jamie Murray: I'm training like never before, I feel like Iron Man

British doubles star Jamie Murray says the coronavirus pandemic hasn't prevented him from working hard as he wants to show people that you can stay at home and still do some good work.

The Tour has been suspended until at least July 13 and some players may find it difficult to motivate themselves to stay in shape since it's uncertain whether the season will indeed resume in July.

"This is the most I've ever trained. I'm feeling like Iron Man all of a sudden," Murray said, per Tennis.com.

"I think I also wanted to show people that if you suddenly find yourselves stuck at home, maybe you don't have access to the regular equipment or gyms, or people who don't really exercise at all—just to kind of show them ways you can exercise with being a little bit creative.

"You don't actually need any equipment, just yourself and you can still get a good workout."

Murray, a former doubles world No. 1, suspects his mother Judy might be having a bit tough time staying at home.

"She's so used to being on her feet and being so active and so busy," Murray said. "For her I'm imagining it's been quite difficult to kind of sit still for a period of time. But, she seems to be doing fine and in good spirits."

Meanwhile, Murray made two ATP semifinals this year with his partner Neal Skupski before the Tour was suspended.

Murray, a seven-time Grand Slam champion, is now ranked at No. 26 in the world.
