Nick Kyrgios reaches to Kobe Bryant’s mamba mentality to overcome crisis

After tattooing his right arm as a tribute to Kobe Bryant, Nick Kyrgios shared a part of an interview with the lamented NBA player. Kobe’s words fit like a glove during the tough times the world has to pass through right now.

“Have a good time, enjoy life! Life is too short to get brought down, to be discouraged. You have to keep moving, you have to keep going, put one foot in front of the other, smile and keep on rolling,” said Kobe Bryant.

Recently, Kyrgios has encouraged at his turn another player, Noah Rubin, after the American said he is not worthy to be included in L’Equipe’s top 20 most influential people in tennis. "Why would you not feel worthy regardless of making this list or not? You do great work. You are a great tennis player. Stop reading into this shit,” Kyrgios told Rubin on Twitter.

Rubin, a former Wimbledon junior champion, and now ranked in the Top 250 in the world rankings - is responsible for the Behind the Racquet series - a platform where tennis players are able to share their own struggles on and off the court.

Regarding Kyrgios' situation during this pandemic, we can say he is pretty safe. Until now, Australia has a low number of COVID-19 cases, given that 6,619 persons have been confirmed with the infection and 71 have died on the whole continent.
