Boris Becker Raises Funds for Charity Through Online Poker Tournament
Former World No. 1 Boris Becker is doing his part to raise funds for those impacted by the current COVID-19 crisis.
Becker took part in an online poker tournament to raise funds for charity. The tournament was organized by GGPoker.

The six-time Grand Slam winner became an official ambassador for GGPoker along with their brand partner, King’s Casino recently.
As part of the arrangement, Becker will be the brand’s ambassador for the forthcoming WSOP Online Super Circuit Series.
In his statement at the time of becoming the ambassador, Becker commented, “I am thrilled to work with GGPoker and King’s. I’m looking forward to competing with players around the world on the very best poker platform. With the WSOP Super Circuit Online Series just around the corner, I’m hoping to add a WSOP Circuit ring to my Grand Slam wins!”
Becker posted the update on his social media account which also elicited a response from another former World No. 1 and poker enthusiast Yevgeny Kafelnikov.

The 52 year old Becker won the first of his six major singles titles at age 17 at Wimbledon. His Grand Slam singles titles included three Wimbledons, two Australian Opens and one US Open.
Since his playing career ended, he has engaged in numerous ventures, including coaching Novak Djokovic for three years.
