Evert: "Rafael Nadal most celebrated of Navratilova because he is a man"

In the history of tennis and especially in the last decade, the differences between the world of men's tennis and the world of women's tennis have been discussed. She has spoken openly about sexism in the tennis world, arguing that tennis players' greatest feats of all time are not as praised as the feats of men's tennis champions.

I mean, Martina's Wimbledon record is incredible and I think it needs to be celebrated from time to time, so why don't they? And what about Steffi Graf's 1988 Golden Slam? I mean, Olympics and Four Slams. If a man had done this he would have been mentioned for a very long time but no one ever mentions Steffi."

Talking of the next season, the greatests tennis stars on the planet, like Novak Djokovic, Roger Federer, Rafael Nadal, Andy Murray, Serena Williams, Naomi Osaka, Ashleigh Barty, Simona Halep and all the others, will come back for the upcoming Australian Open 2021, which will be held in Melbourne from 8 February: it will be the most awaited sports event of the first part of the new season.
