Novak Djokovic's Schedule for 2021

Novak Djokovic had a 2020 of ups and downs, a year that brought him his seventeenth career Grand Slam title and several Masters 1000s but nevertheless received several criticisms. To underline the elimination that took place at the Us Open 2020, knockout arrived only through disqualification in the Round of 16 against the Spanish tennis player Carreno Busta: Nole was disqualified for having mistakenly hit a female line judge with the ball and that knockout, which certainly did scored, it was his first defeat of the entire 2020.

Novak Djokovic can get 1000 career wins in 2021. Our era has seen those who are considered by most to be the three best tennis players of all time playing in the world of tennis. Roger Federer, Rafael Nadal and Novak Djokovic have been dueling at the top of the men's tennis Tour for years, giving the crowd great matches and record-breaking records and every year each of us comes to terms with a new record that one of these three players can break.

In addition to the great quality, these three athletes have been recognized for their great longevity, ability to improve over time and to break new records. Getting to 1000 victories on the ATP Tour is far from easy, but two of the Big Three have already succeeded and Novak Djokovic is a serious candidate to be next. Federer has won 1242 matches while Nadal who completed the 1000-match milestone in 2020 has won 1004 matches. Djokovic currently has 934 wins on the tour. 

Without the problems caused by the pandemic, the Serbian champion would probably be even closer to this figure, but if no further tournaments are canceled this year, it seems likely that 2021 will be the year of Novak Djokovic's 1000 successes in the ATP Tour.
