Novak Djokovic reflects on his leaving his legacy behind

The news was reported by the Serbian press, and in particular by the couple formed by the newspaper Blic and the renowned Saso Ozmo, one of the reference points of tennis information not only in his country. Novak Djokovic would have set up his program before Roland Garros, with news that can somehow surprise. The Serbian, in fact, would be expected to play not only in Monte Carlo, where he trains normally, but also in Belgrade, in the ATP which is basically at home, and in Rome. Instead, he would miss the other Masters 1000 in addition to that of the Italian capital, namely Madrid, which presents conditions different from those of both the Foro Italico and Roland Garros. The number 1 in the world defends the victory in both events, and thanks to the changes in the regulation on the ATP ranking, since he did not play in Madrid in 2020, he would lose only 500 of the 1000 points won with the success two years ago Iberian land. These plans of Djokovic are however in the making, after the Serbian has skipped Miami, and more will be understood when the entry lists of the last tournaments before the red Slam are announced. Tennis superstar Novak Djokovic has evolved into a complete player and a wise individual. In recent years, he has been the most commanding player in the men’s game, and the Serbian ace has often been compared to his great rivals Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal. Novak Djokovic wants to write his own story

Speaking more about his leaving his legacy behind, Novak Djokovic explained, “I am writing my own authentic story in life because I’m the only one that knows myself inside out 100%, more than anybody else. So I know what I want to achieve, what I want to do in life, who I want to be. So I try to live to those standards and accept whatever life has in place for me because I believe in life. I believe that life and God and the universe have something already pre-organized for us.” At this stage in his career, Novak enjoys a better head-to-head record against Federer and Nadal. He lifted his 18th Grand Slam title at the Australian Open this year and even played the tournament along with a muscle tear on the right side of his abdomen.
