KING RICHARD: THE TRAILER WITH WILL SMITH IS AVAILABLE!

Will Smith will be none other than Williams Senior in the new King Richard biopic. The multifaceted American actor will play the father of Serena and Venus Williams, arguably the greatest athletes of all time. Finally the magnificent trailer of the movie is now available, and you can see it below.

The project is announced in March 2019, with Will Smith starring as Richard Williams, Saniyya Sidney will play Venus, Demi Singleton will be Serena. And Zach Baylin as screenwriter. In the same period, Warner Bros. is awarded the rights to the film. In June of the same year, Reinaldo Marcus Green was chosen to direct.

Filming for the film began in January 2020 in Los Angeles. The movie, initially set for November 25, 2020, has been postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic and will be released in US cinemas starting November 19, 2021 and simultaneously on HBO Max.
