Rafael Nadal trains in Washington!

Rafael Nadal has decided to bet everything on the American season after the defeat suffered against Novak Djokovic in the semifinals of the Roland Garros 2021. The Spanish champion missed Wimbledon and the the Tokyo Olympic Games to arrive in the best possible conditions for the US Open.

The real goal of the Mallorcan is precisely to lift the trophy to the sky in Flushing Meadows and to detach Roger Federer and Djokovic by one length in the race for the Slam primacy. Nadal has chosen to restart from the ATP 500 tournament in Washington and should then compete in the Masters 1000 in Toronto and Cincinnati.

The current world number three has already started training on the Washington courts and is looking forward to returning to competing at the highest level.
