Laver snubs Federer, Djokovic: 'Nadal will end up with more Major titles'

Who will end career holding most Grand Slam titles between Roger Federer, Rafael Nadal and Novak Djokovic? Through his official Twitter account, the Australian legend Rod Laver gave an answer. 'Rafael Nadal - he has quite a few more left in him.' The Spaniard currently holds 17 crowns, Federer 20 and Djokovic 14.

Laver also commented on Nick Kyrgios's challenges: "He's got to get mentally tougher. That's the one thing that is letting him down. But his attitude towards competing and his concentration is lacking."

On the rules changes in tennis, Laver added: "I like the 5th set tiebreakers that have been introduced. It's great having it at 6-6 and 10 points."

Commenting on the differences between the past and current tennis, Laver added: 'The biggest problem is getting used to the racquet. You've got to learn what the new technology is going. I'm at a little disadvantage with my height. I'd be happy to give it a go and see what my game would do with a composite racquet.'

Laver also indicated some other differences: 'Back in my era, we had people you looked up. Rosewall, Hoad .. they were the standard. The players of today have a different world. They are making money, but that doesn't necessarily give you discipline. Today's players are loners in some ways.'
