German tennis star Alexander Zverev has congratulated Miami Heat legend Dwyane Wade on an amazing NBA career.

Wade, 37, played his last home game for the Miami Heat this Tuesday against the Philadelphia 76ers.

Wade didn't disappoint in his last home game, having scored 30 points in Miami's 122-99 win over Philadelphia.

Wade, the No. 1 pick of the 2003 NBA draft, has had a rich career as he is a three-time NBA champion, 13-time NBA All-Star, one-time NBA Finals MVP and Olympic Gold medal winner respectively.

Wade's career will come to an end when Miami meet the Brooklyn Nets this Wednesday.

"Man i can't believe my favorite athlete of all time is having his last home game tonight. I had the honor of meeting Dwyane Wade a year ago and hear his story. Thank you Dwyane Wade for everything you have done for not only the sport of basketball but the world of sports in general. Showing the way for so many young kids from all over the world that if you have the determination, the passion, the will and the hard work you can achieve anything no matter where you come from. How you became a three time NBA champion, a finals MVP and an absolute superstar in sports is one of the most incredible stories in sports history. Having to fight through the toughest times as a kid and becoming a role model for everyone around you is just incredible. I just want to say thank you as a fan, as a fellow athlete and as a kid who always admired you and followed you your whole career. And congratulations on an amazing career. I hope your one last dance will be special," Zverev wrote on his Instagram account.
