Alex de Minaur: You can never get complacent, that's the deal
Rising Australian star Alex de Minaur is happy with what he has accomplished so far in his career but underlines that he can't get complacent.
The Australian is having a challenging season as he is on a five-match losing streak.
De Minaur's struggles with a groin injury have taken a toll on his results this season but the 20-year-old now appears to be healthy and ready to get back on the right track.
Dealing with an injury and being sidelined wasn't easy for the Australian but it made him learn when to take a foot of the gas.
De Minaur, who is now enjoying his career-high ranking of No. 24 in the world, also claimed his maiden ATP title in Sydney earlier this year.
"Sometimes I need to sit back, relax and look what I've been able to accomplish," de Minaur said.
"I'm very happy with that and I've gotta keep reminding myself of where I used to be and where I am now and keep believing in myself.
"But you can never get complacent, that's the deal."
De Minaur will be targeting to put an end to his losing streak when he meets world No. 88 Bradley Klahn in the French Open first round.
