ATP Cincinnati - Tuesday Schedule: Roger Federer, Novak Djokovic to play

In the Masters 1000s, the top players usually start their run on Wednesday. For a change, the Western & Southern Open features both Novak Djokovic and Roger Federer's first matches on Tuesday. Both of them are coming back from the epic Wimbledon final and there will definitely be a lot of buzz around. Djokovic will face Sam Querrey for the 11th time in career, the Serb leads head to head meetings 8-2. Querrey defeated Djokovic in 2012 Paris and 2016 Wimbledon, which is their last match against each other. That was definitely the start of a tough time for Djokovic who was dealing with an elbow injury just a few weeks after winning his fourth Grand Slam title in a row in the French Open. Federer will face Juan Ignacio Londero, who defeated Matteo Berrettini in the first round. Londero made his breakthrough earlier this year in Cordoba, Argentina, on clay, winning his maiden career-title. Stan Wawrinka and Grigor Dimitrov will open the schedule on the center court, with the Bulgarian seeking the revenge after losing to the Lausanne native in last week's Montreal. After that, Venus Williams, who joined the main draw through a wild card, will face Kiki Bertens. Her sister Serena, despite she retired during the Rogers Cup final in Toronto, is supposed to face the qualifier Zarina Diyas as last match of the night session at not before 8:30 PM.

Victoria Azarenka will play against Belinda Bencic on Grandstand, followed by Gael Monfils against Frances Tiafoe. Also John Isner, Daniil Medvedev and David Goffin will try to reach the third round. Andy Murray will play in doubles with Feliciano Lopez. Dominic Thiem and Alexander Zverev will headline the Wednesday schedule.
