Roger Federer shares the thing he wants to do when he retires

In an interview to Uniqlo, Roger Federer spoke about his Foundation. The Basel native said: "We have had a lot of goals. Especially last year we achieved a big goal, which was to reach one million children who could profit from the Foundation, which we achieved, which was exciting and we give an opportunity for quality education. That's we really do in Southern Africa because my mom, being South African, she grew up there and then she moved to Switzerland with my dad and before was gone back to South Africa on vacation but I have travelled to South Africa quite a lot, we know it's not Switzerland, there is so much more poverty in that part of the world and I just felt I could have a big impact on many kids there.

And we are really making strides and still only at the very beginning since quite incredible to think back I have already been doing for 15 years but there is still so much to come so I hope I really can spend more time as years go by in philanthropy and I am also happy that Uniqlo shares same vision, that they want to do that good, that we can collaborate, that we can do it together and fight for a better planet and life for people and children and I am very excited about that too, so that's my little story about my Foundation", concluded the Basel native who is still in Switzerland ahead of the hard-court season.
