Dominik Koepfer: My run at US Open was life changing

Rising German star Dominik Koepfer, 25, says his run at the US Open was life changing as he broke into the top-100 for the first time in his career this month and now it will be a lot easier for him to sneak into the main draws of ATP events.

Koepfer won two qualifying matches to earn a place in this week's Zhuhai Championships main draw but he failed to capitalize on a favorable first round matchup as he got stunned by world No. 224 Zhizhen Zhang in the first round.

In his interview, the 25-year-old German also revealed that his next goal is to make the top-50.
