Roger Federer: 'My wife and mother are good at cooking, while me...'

Roger Federer spoke about his and his family's cooking routines. The Swiss player was asked what he doesn't want to eat: "To be honest my children tried snails last night. It was their desire. Asked if he ever cooked pasta being alone, Federer replied: "Yeah, it was a long time ago and it did not work very well. My wife did not find it funny because she could not clean the pan."

Asked what he eats before a match, Federer replied: "Usually, salad and pasta. So far it worked well. I have been doing it throughout my tennis career. I was vegetarian. Also, my mother always remembered me to eat greens. I never had problems with it."

Recalling the start to his career, Federer added: "I was not aware of how much attention from media I was receiving. When I became world No. 1, they were asking me questions about my forehand and then about politics all of a sudden. I thought: What? I am a tennis player. Who cares about my opinion?!"
