Casper Ruud 'done' talking about Nick Kyrgios

In an interview as quoted by AFP Casper Ruud spoke about Nick Kyrgios getting angry with the Norwegian player on Twitter after some angry remarks. Ruud said: "I'm done talking about whatever he does and I'm not going to be commenting anymore on him or his behaviour."

On how it will feel like to play the Next Gen ATP Finals in Milan next week, Ruud added: "It was one of my biggest goals to be able to finish the season in Milan and we are there now. I'm looking forward to it a lot and it will be a great finish to the season."

Talking to reporters at the Paris Masters Dominic Thiem reassessed his year overall. He won three ATP 500s (Beijing, Vienna and Barcelona) and reached a French Open final. "2019 was definitely the best season in my career and i give a lot of credit to him. For me it has been amazing to work with Nico, he made a lot of changes on my game making it more unpredictable. He improved my net game, my volleys. My game benefited from it on hard courts. Next year I will have to be more consistent during the season. This year I lost in the first or second round in three Grand Slams. Technique-wise, I have to keep improving at the net because in today's tennis that's too important", said Thiem.

On the controversial politics situation in Chile, he added: "I red some article, although those days I had less time, I was so focused on my job and I could not speak with Massu. I hope things become calmer."

On his triumph in Vienna, Thiem said: "It was a dream became true, I waited for it for such a long time. I played many tough matches in front of a packed stadium that supported me a lot. It was definitely one of the best weeks in my career. But now I have to focus on Paris, I have a horrible draw. I open my run against Milos Raonic, a former world No. 3 who has been one of the best players over the last five years."
