Lucas Pouille hungry for more success as he aims to win Grand Slam title

During an appearance on Echange Podcast, French tennis star Lucas Pouille underlined that he is not satisfied with what he has achieved so far in his career as his big goal remains to win a Grand Slam title. 

Pouille, ranked at No. 22 in the world, has five ATP titles and a Davis Cup title in his collection, while his career-high ranking saw him sit at No. 10 on the ATP rankings list. 

The 25-year-old's best result at the Grand Slam level came earlier this year at Melbourne Park, when he made the semifinal before losing in straight sets to eventual Australian Open champion Novak Djokovic. 

Also, Pouille revealed that growing up he admired former two-time Grand Slam champion Lleyton Hewitt and also had a poster of former world No. 4 and current French Davis Cup Team Captain Sebastien Grosjean.

For the first time since 2015, Pouille will have finished the year without a title won at the ATP level. 

After losing in the Shanghai Masters second round, the Frenchmen pulled out of Vienna, Paris Masters and Davis Cup Finals so he could treat an injury and focus on the next season.
