World #1 Ash Barty talks about her reasons for skipping Roland Garros this year

World No. 1 Ash Barty has announced that she would be skipping the French Open Grand Slam tournament in Paris later this month.
Barty won her first Grand Slam title in Paris last year and soon after became the World No. 1 ranked player.
The Australian did not travel to New York either for the ongoing US Open.
In a video released by Tennis Australia, the World No. 1 talks about her reasons for deciding to skip the French Open and the success of fellow Aussie Alex de Minaur at the current US Open.
