No. 1 seed Casper Ruud reacts to saving match point against Mikael Ymer in Kitzbuhel

Norwegian tennis star Casper Ruud revealed he was struggling with his arm following a hard-earned win over world No. 99 Mikael Ymer in Kitzbuhel.

Ruud, seeded at No. 1, recovered from a set down to beat Ymer 3-6 7-6 (5) 6-1 and reach the Kitzbuhel semifinal. 

Ruud was down by a set and a break in the second set but he saved a match point en route to claiming a comeback win. 

"I am just playing good tennis. [My arm] did not feel so good today, but that is part of the sport," Ruud said in his on-court interview, per the ATP website. "A lot of players have pain here and there. Today the arm was working a little bit better after treatment, so hopefully it can be fully recovered by tomorrow."

Ruud gave credit to Ymer 

"It was a very very tough match," Ruud added. "Mikael played very well for two sets, and had the chance to win. I have been a bit lucky this year in a couple of matches where I have saved match points. It is small margins in this sport. Sometimes in tennis, it is not the guy who plays better that wins."

Ymer made a positive start to the match, having broken Ruud in the fourth game to take a 3-1 lead. 

Ymer failed to convert a set point in the eighth game but he served out for the set in the ninth game. 

After winning the first set, Ymer started the second set with a break but Ruud broke back immediately in the second game. 

Ymer was serving for the match in games 10 and 12 but failed to get over the line as Ruud managed to force a tie-break. 

Ruud, who saved a match point in the 10th game, realized his second set point in the tie-break to steal the second set from Ymer. 

After losing the second set, Ymer's game fell apart as Ruud earned four breaks in the third game and lost his serve once to complete a comeback win.
