'When I turn around there's Novak Djokovic', says Bosnian runner

Novak Djokovic began his adventure towards the gold of the Tokyo 2021 Olympic Games, and he did it in the best possible way, defeating Bolivian Hugo Dellien in just one hour of match with a double 6-2. The Serbian showed a very solid version from the beginning, and Dellien could do little to stop the world number one, who had a tremendous desire to do something great at these Games. The game started as expected, without going any further. Djokovic was playing out his service games very easily, while for Dellien it was the opposite. The Bolivian endured his first two service turns, reaching 0-40 in the second, but in the third he did succumb and gave the break to Nole. That break would totally put the game on track. More of the same in the second set, where Djokovic was still very serious, without conceding anything and submitting Dellien in each turn of the Bolivian's serve. "I'm going to the Olympic Village and I'm carrying food to my colleagues from the national team when I hear someone say: So where were you?! I get who it will be, and when I turn around there's Novak Djokovic," Tuka wrote on Facebook. "With every gesture and sentence, he showed his modesty and humanity. Nole is a man, athlete, humanitarian. He is our friend, a good and honest man. We will see each other again in Visoko, Sarajevo or Zenica," Tuka wrote.
