Mischa Zverev reacts to Alexander Zverev stunning Novak Djokovic in Tokyo

Mischa Zverev has said that winning the Tokyo Olympics would be the biggest success of Alexander Zverev's career so far. 

Zverev, ranked at No. 5 in the world, recovered from a set down to stun world No. 1 Novak Djokovic 1-6 6-3 6-1 in the Tokyo Olympics semifinal. 

Zverev has won multiple Masters titles and he is also won the 2018 Nitto ATP Finals event. 

"Right now, I can tell you that winning a gold medal at the Olympics could be compared to making No. 1 on the ATP list or winning any Grand Slam tournament. In case he reaches the throne, that would definitely be the biggest success in his career so far. The Olympic Games are played once every four years. It is an amazing feeling because you know that the whole country, all sports fans behind you, want your victory. It creates a sense of responsibility that is difficult to describe in words, and thus, in case of victory, it creates a feeling of incredible pride. For Sascha, these are the first Olympic Games, he reached the final, he stopped Novak, he has the opportunity to reach the throne," Mischa said on Eurosport, as quoted on Sport Klub. 

Mischa Zverev likes Alexander's chances against Karen Khachanov 

Mischa spoke positively of Khachanov but believes his brother has what it takes to beat the Russian in the final. 

"Karen Khachanov is a great player and it will not be easy to reach gold medal. So far, Sascha and Karen have played four times, and the score is tied. Khachanov has a powerful serve, an extremely strong forehand, he has the courage and determination to play decisively and without stress, when points on the coupon are important. However, I think that Sascha has more self-confidence at the moment, that he looks great on the field, and that he has the role of the favorite in the grand final," Mischa explained. 

Zverev beat Khachanov in their first two meetings but the Russian won their last two meetings.
