Roger Federer: 'It will be interesting to see where I am in the future'

In an interview to Lunerzer Zeitung, the biker Jolanda Neff asked Roger Federer if he travels on the bike in his off-court training. The Swiss player gave an interesting answer. 'I already bought a mountain bike, but I have not used it yet', said Neff. 'I have not managed to go around and I am not used to sit on a bike. In my mind, I can see myself going by a bike in the Grigioni mountains. For how beautiful it can be out there, I have to admit that I am not a resistance fan. I love ball sports: squash, football, table tennis, badminton, basketball - I see myself. It will be interesting to see where I am in the future.'

Federer then asked the hockey player Roman Josi: 'Roman, how many points could you win against me in a tennis match? I know you play tennis'. 'I see myself losing the first set 7-6. Because I am always nervous on a tennis court, I have no chances in the tie-break. In the second set, I regret the missed the chance, I make too many errors - 6/2. After that, I come back after taking a medical timeout. You start getting angry with me - 6-/4 for me. In the fourth set, you find yourself again, you feel too comfortable. That's why I lose the set 6-4 and so the match. And now seriously: in the entire match, I may win two points. A mistake by you, because it's not that fun playing against me. And in the other rally, I take full risk and I hit the ball the way I can do only every 100 times.'
