Jamie Murray hopes to create more Davis Cup memories in Madrid

British doubles specialist Jamie Murray is looking forward to the inaugural Davis Cup Finals as he is hoping to achieve more success in the competition with the British team. 

Murray, a former doubles world No. 1, was a member of the British team that won the 2015 Davis Cup title. 

Back then, Murray and his brother Andy Murray came up big in doubles rubbers they played together as the Murrays went undefeated in three doubles matches they played. 

The inaugural Davis Cup Finals will be held in Madrid next week.  "I'm really excited. (I have) always loved competing for my country. (I) have some amazing memories of playing Davis Cup for Great Britain and hopefully we can create a few more for the next week," Murray told the Davis Cup Finals. 

British Davis Cup Team Captain nominated the Murray brothers, Kyle Edmund, Dan Evans and Neal Skupski for the event. 

It remains to be seen how far can the British team go at the inaugural Davis Cup Finals.
