'Younger players get pressure.Look at Sharapova after 2004 Wimbledon title'

On her relationship with the Russian players, Vesnina added: "I communicate with them, I follow them on Instagram. This year Daria Kasatkina did not really perform well. They barely keep their rankings position. You have to keep working. And through the hard work and blood results will come."

Asked if her little daughter Elizabeth holds a racket, Vesnina concluded: "Yeah. I would like her to play tennis because it's a very fair, nice and healthy sport. It's played outdoors too. She changed our life and I am really happy and proud about it. It cannot get better."

Vesnina became a mother in November 2018. She said 'never say never' when asked if she will be back on tour.
