Nick Kyrgios Critical of Madrid Open e Relief Package from Tennis Bodies
While several players and fans are excited about the Madrid Open Virtual Pro event, the Australian Nick Kyrgios does not look like being one of those.
The 24 year old Australian tennis star recently posted a tweet on social media, saying that the ATP Tour should organize some of the other games such as Call of Duty, Fortnite or FIFA so that people would actually watch.
Given his stance, Kyrgios, who is known to be a big fan of virtual games, is probably not going to be among those who will sign up for the Virtual Pro Madrid event, which is scheduled for the end of this month.
His tweet also evoked a response from the French tennis player Benoit Paire, who said, "Not sure if you have the level to play a FIFA tournament"
Play CALL OF DUTY OR FORTNITE SO PEOPLE ACTUALLY WATCH OR FIFA https://t.co/HmqXtVz0kB

Kyrgios was also critical of the plan by the tennis bodies to help the lower ranked players with funds, asking them to hurry up.
The Australian said that the relief package should have come much sooner - saying it was "poor form" on the part of the ATP Tour.
Should of happened a lot sooner, leaving all the players in the dark. Poor form to be honest. Hurry up https://t.co/VSJ8XWU6K1
