ATP Finals - Here is when Djokovic, Roger Federer, Rafael Nadal will debut

The schedule for Sunday 10 and Monday 11 November at the ATP Finals in London has been revealed. On Sunday at 2:00 PM Novak Djokovic and Matteo Berrettini will face each other for the first time in career. The Italian is playing the year-end singles championship for the first time while the Serb will seek his sixth ATP Finals title after winning the first one in 2008 Shanghai plus four consecutive ones from 2012 to 2015. At 8:00 PM Roger Federer plays against Dominic Thiem. The Austrian is leading 4-2 on the head to head and he won the most two recent matches in Madrid on clay and in Indian Wells on hard. In 2018 Federer easily beat Thiem at the O2 Arena in the groups' stages, 6-2 6-3. On Monday at 2:00, Stefanos Tsitsipas will try to defeat Daniil Medvedev for the first time. The Russian won all the five matches they played against each other. "Facing Daniil is boring", said the Greek after the Shanghai Masters semifinals loss. At 8, if he will be healthy enough, Rafael Nadal will play against Alexander Zverev. The German never beat the Spaniard over five meetings.

Greg Rusedski, a former world No. 4, believes Nadal doesn't have many chances to end the year as a world No. 1: “I would say with Djokovic’s record at the ATP Finals he is in pole position to achieve his goal. Nadal usually never goes through his group undefeated to make the final. Djokovic will be absolutely delighted for his position now. If it was 1,040 points then you would have to say Nadal would have to be the favorite. If you look at the way the Championships and end of the season is going to be, for every win you get 200 points, if you go undefeated and get to the final you get 1,000, and if you win it undefeated it’s 1,500 points.”
